What this service addresses
Weather, algae and pollution wear the outside of a house. Cracked render lets water in, dirty surfaces hold damp, and a tired exterior undoes the value of good roof work.

What we cannot guarantee
A coating or paint cannot fix damp with a structural cause such as a failed damp-proof course or a leaking gutter. We find the cause first and tell you if it is not our work to fix.

Common questions
Paint or wall coating, which do I need?
Paint suits sound render that just needs colour and light protection. A coating is a thicker, longer-lasting layer for walls that take a lot of weather or keep cracking. We say which after seeing the walls.
Will pressure washing damage the surface?
Not when the pressure is set for the material. Soft, delicate or old surfaces are soft washed rather than blasted.
Can you do the exterior and the roof in one visit?
Often yes. Scaffold and access are shared, which keeps the cost down, and we plan the order so nothing gets dirtied twice.
How long does a coating last?
Longer than paint, but it depends on the wall, the exposure and the preparation. We do not quote a number of years we cannot stand behind.
